We founded Guys Who Gallop with one goal in mind: giving our customers a fair, rewarding and enjoyable shopping experience. Our store policies are detailed below, please have a look and contact us to learn more!

OUR SHIPPING POLICY

How It Works

We offer a selection of shipping options. We vary the courier/services we use for deliveries depending on the best services available to us.

Our UK shipping is £5.95 and free with orders over £75. Parcels under 2kg will be sent royal mail 48 tracked. Items over 2kg or over 45cm x 35cm x 16cm will be sent with a courier. We currently have frozen the express shipping option.

The boring but important parts!

Our shipping estimated delivery times are from when all of the items in the order are available to be shipped – if an item(s) will be significantly delayed we will notify you as soon as we are aware.

Shipping is non-refundable once an order is dispatched. If you choose to return your order, in line with distance selling laws, you will be liable to pay the return shipping.

International Shipping

We do not currently offer international shipping on the website but we are more than happy to ship overseas. For these orders all shipping is calculated manually dependant on location and size of order. Please use the ‘Contact Us’ page to get in touch.

Damages/ Missing Items

Unfortunately on occasion items may be damaged/go missing in transit. If any item arrives damaged you must notify us within 24 hours of the item being delivered. Please allow the maximum number of days before reporting a parcel as missing. We will report any damages/missing items to the shipping service used and claim on the insurance. This procedure does vary between the service providers.

GDPR  - In line with GDPR we will be required to share your details with the 3rd party courier delivering your parcel. The information shared will be your name, address, email address and contact phone number. These are essential for the delivery of your order.

When you see ‘We’ this relates to Guys Who Gallop Limited. Also abbreviated to GWG.


PRICING
All prices are quoted in UK Pounds Sterling, VAT inclusive at the prevailing rate where applicable (we currently are not VAT registered) and goods are sold under English law. Where we notify you that goods are not in stock, and offer to place a specific forward order for you from our suppliers, this is subject to the possibility that the price may increase from that advertised. We will immediately notify you if our suppliers no longer have the item you want at the advertised price, and will take your instructions on whether to order at the higher price, or to stop the order.

PACKAGING

All items will come with the appropriate manufacturer's protective packaging.

PRODUCT ENQUIRES

We make every effort to offer only merchandise sizes and colours that are available to order if not held as a stock product. All our products are based on your order being a forward order to be fulfilled. If a size or colour is not available, we will notify you on receipt of your order, but may be able to place a specific forward order for you from our suppliers, subject to price implications.

If you cannot find a product on our website, please contact us, as we may be able to source it as a special order. Please be aware there may be an additional cost for these items. If we are able to source the item requested, we will notify you of the cost and estimated delivery date before we process the order, at which time goods will need to be paid for. Please note special orders are non-returnable.

Any products personalised in any way are subject to special order as noted above, and are non-returnable. Please be sure of sizing when ordering special order items.

Your order is only accepted by us once we have taken payment from you.

RETURNS AND EXCHANGES

Cancellation Rights & Returns

You have a legal right to cancel your order after you have received and inspected the goods, up to 14 days after receiving them. Please be aware that for  items of clothing and accessories the term "inspected" refers to examination only. This means they are not to be worn.

 Please note that no statutory cancellation rights apply to goods that have been personalised in any way, or are classed as a special order.

Please note that you are under a legal duty to take care of the product; this includes all packaging and labelling original to the item. Care must be taken to ensure that the goods remain in the best possible condition.

Please take particular care with items which are easily damaged. If you are unsure in any way how to proceed, please contact us in the first instance and we will endeavour to advise you of the best way forward. Please take extra care with items that have metal fastenings such as zips, as damage caused to these by improper fitting will void any ability to return the item.

Should you decide to return the goods you must notify us of cancellation in writing (by post to the address below, or by email to info@guyswhogallop.co.uk within 14 days of receipt of the goods. Following cancellation you are under a legal duty to not use the goods and to take care of them. This includes packaging the items suitably for return postage.

You must return the goods to us securely packaged, in the condition in which they were received, at your cost, as soon as possible, with as much of their original packaging and their original paperwork as possible. We will refund to your preferred payment method, within 30 working days of receiving the goods, the sums paid by you in relation to them. Excluding the costs related to initial shipping.

For faulty items or items sent in error your return postage will be re-imbursed up to a value of £5.99 with proof of postage. If the cost of returning the item is going to exceed this please contact us. We recommend sending all items recorded, and keeping proof of purchase until we confirm the goods have been received.

If you do not return the goods within 14 days of your cancellation notice, you will be deemed to have accepted the goods, at which point the contract will be closed, and no further negotiations will be entered into.

ACCEPTANCE OF RETURNS:

When we have accepted and processed your return we will be in touch to let you know how we are to proceed. Due to Health and Safety reasons we will NOT accept your return for any reason if it is sent back to us dirty or wet.

This does not affect your statutory rights.

Returns - Best Practice

You must return goods by mail to the returns address below. We recommend that you send your goods back by recorded delivery or a secure delivery method which requires a signature on delivery, as we cannot be held responsible for it being lost or damaged before it arrives to us.

All returns must include a copy of your original invoice and the cancellation note that we will provide. Please ensure your name, address, e-mail address, order number, and reason for return is completed. This enables us to speed up the returns process, and prevents fraudulent returns.

Exchanges

We do not currently offer exchanges - should you require a different size colour etc, please organise a return following the above protocol. Please then order the alternative product you require as a new order. This helps to keep returns and shipping as smooth as possible.

Similarly, where the goods are returned to us as undelivered by your postal service, and we agree to re-send them to you, you will have to pay the additional postage costs.

If you fail to return packaging which is an integral part of the overall product (for example branded packaging on high value items) then you will not have returned all of the goods, and we reserve the right to recover the cost of replacement from you and where there is evidence of dishonesty, to refer the matter to the police.

Where goods are returned in a damaged, worn or dirty condition, which indicates that they have been worn or used after you have had a reasonable chance to inspect them on receipt, we will consider you to be in breach of your legal duty to take reasonable care of the goods and reserve the right to recover appropriate sums from you.

Goods will not be accepted for return that have been personalised in any way.

Where you return items to us which are not the goods which we dispatched to you, you will not have returned the goods, and accordingly will be deemed to have accepted the original goods which we sent you. We will notify the police where there is any attempt at fraud or dishonesty (for example where lower value items are returned), and will actively pursue all such cases through the courts. We will also actively fight any fraudulent claim-backs made through your credit card company.

If you do not comply with your obligations above, we may make a reasonable charge to cover any costs that we have incurred (for example in respect of wasted collection journeys).

ITEM SPECIFIC GUIDANCE

​RIDING BOOTS
When trying on boots it should be reasonably apparent before you fasten them up whether they are likely to fit you or not and certainly whether they are too small for you. Please do not force the zips and/or fastenings on the boot this may lead to injury to yourself as well as the boot.  If the zip will not do up easily, then the boots do not fit you. In the event that you have forced and broken the ,we will consider you to be in breach of your statutory duty to take reasonable care of the goods and will take steps to recover our losses from you.

In the event that we have reason to suspect that you have deliberately broken or damaged the boots in any other way, to try and claim the boots were faulty on issue, we will take steps to recover our losses and involve the police where appropriate to deal with any criminal fraud.

DAMAGED / MISSING GOODS 
If you should receive an item that is not in perfect condition or was damaged in shipping, please immediately notify us by emailing us at info@guyswhogallop.co.uk. Please note you must report any missing items within 48 hours from the parcel being delivered or we will unable to deal with your claim.

 

SHIPPING 
All goods are shipped by registered UK delivery service provider and will require a signature on receipt. Unfortunately we are not able to control the efficiency of the postal service, but would recommend that on average you allow up to 2 business days for special delivery orders and 5 -7 working days for standard delivery. UK shipping rate is per order and will not change however many items you order.


FRAUD 
In order to protect against fraud we only are able to ship items to the billing address of the credit card holder. We do check the address you give on your order before shipment.

GENERAL 
If the courts decide that any part or wording in these terms of sale is illegal, invalid or unenforceable then that part or wording shall be deleted from the agreement and rest of the terms of sale shall remain in force.

All contracts formed, sales made, and legal disputes arising through the use this website shall be governed by English law. The English courts shall have exclusive jurisdiction to settle any disputes which may arise out of or in connection with these terms of sale or use of the website.

These terms and conditions shall apply to all internet sales made by GWG, and by placing an order with GWG you are accepting these terms and conditions.

THESE TERMS AND CONDITIONS DO NOT AFFECT YOUR STATUTORY RIGHTS.
If you have any doubts about your statutory rights please contact your local Trading Standards department or Citizens Advice Bureau.

WARRANTY AT GUYS WHO GALLOP

About Our Policy

At GWG we do not offer additional warranties on products, however many items do come with a manufactures warranty. Any items that do have an additional manufactures warranty will have it clearly stated.

If you believe you have an item that is faulty please get in touch, we can liaise with the manufacture/supplier however we are tied to their responses.

Privacy Policy

Here at GWG we like to keep things simple. In the below policy we will let you know how, where and why we use your data.

All our sales are through our website, which is currently hosted via Wix. If you sign up to marketing via the website we will send marketing via Wix also. Don’t worry though we wont bombard you and you’ll be able to unsubscribe via each email.

All our sales are processed currently Via PayPal – who are Complainant with GDPR. We may in time add the likes of Klarna or other ways to spread payments. We only use companies that are compliant with and regulated by financial authorities. We will not pass your details to any 3rd parties that are no essential. I.E marketing or suppliers.

We will only pass your details with essential 3rd parties such as couriers. We occasionally will use an external newsletter provider. We will update this policy if we do.

Once you make you order the data is stored with Wix, once your payment confirmation has been received we will then get to work on your order. We will share your essential details with the courier, name, address, email and contact number as required.  

All details are stored online and via cloud associated with the companies providing the services. We store all details with secure passwords and any hardcopies are held securely and where relevant stored for the time dictated by the governing state, in our case it is the UK Government and HMRC.

We comply with GDPR and you can request copies of the Data at any time and we will assist within the guidelines provided by ICO (information communications office). In cases of the right to be forgotten we can only process these fully once the required time has passed in law.
